My husband and I chose Seaside Gas Service to replace our boiler and hot water heater. We can only say that of all the upgrades to our house, this was by far the easiest we have experienced. Kevin was not only on-time, but came a week early, did exactly what he said he was going to do and followed-up by answering all our questions. They arrived at 9am on Wednesday and worked all day. On Thursday, Kevin did not leave until the job was completely finished. It was inspected the next day. It seems almost silly to say, but the area now looks like an engineering marvel. I have showed it to anyone who comes to visit. He replaced all fixtures and everything is brand new. We feel we received great products (and my brother-in-law does this for a living and agreed) for a fair price. The workmanship is really outstanding.

Barbara and I want to express our thanks to you for the excellent job you did in putting in our split system A/C last summer. We did not know how hot and humid it was going to be when we signed up, but you got it up and running just in time for all our summer family company! The best part was to be able to open our closets, and not have to send all the clothes to the cleaners nor scrape the “fur” off of our shoes – you solved our humidity problems.
It made us confident to sign you up to take care of our heating system. We knew we needed a new boiler, and of course the need came in the middle of the cold winter! The equipment you recommended has solved that problem, and all is working perfectly. We are experiencing the savings on the new hot water system that is regulated by the outside temperature device. I have proudly shown the installation to visitors and friends including a master plumber, and all are impressed with the workmanship as well. As I recall we only had a few hours without heat when you made the changeover on a sunny Saturday morning.

Kevin Saunders is very professional and also a great craftsman. He came out with the estimate & pictures of previous jobs. We purchased the Buderus Heating System that was finished & inspected 3/15/2011. Even the gas/plumbing inspector commented on the nice work done. I worked for an electrician 20 years ago. We designed the layout for the electrical installation for many homes. When Kevin removed the 32 year old system he was very precise on installing the new system. He installed a wall for the new piping (painting the wood). He considers every angle for the design in your cellar. I always get three estimates for a job. Kevin may be slightly higher but he is detailed in workmanship & making sure work area is clean to us he is worth the $$$$$. I am a currently a homeowner in Yarmouth Port MA, and have been enlisting Seaside Gas services for the full ten years I have resided here, as well as the previous several years at another residence. Both of these residences were antique homes, and presented numerous challenges. Kevin has a very professional appearance, communicates well, and uses his ingenuity, knowledge, and often, humor, to get the job done. In my case, those jobs being the installation of 3 heating and cooling systems over the years (one in my previous residence, and two in the current residence which had been previously designed with a dual system). Kevin has maintained and provided troubleshooting for my HVAC systems throughout the years, and responds promptly and with the appropriate sense of urgency. In my particular situation, as the basic system design was already in place when Kevin arrived on the scene, and with the working conditions on my antique home allowing for only very limited access and flexibility, I have been nothing but pleased and, often, pleasantly surprised with the solutions Kevin has provided for me over the years.
I am soon moving into a new construction phase at my existing home, and look forward to Seaside Gas providing me with system design help, and give Kevin more of a “fair shake” as he will be starting from scratch, finally. Either way, with new construction, or old construction, I can’t recommend Seaside Gas enough as an HVAC installation and maintenance provider. I worked over at Mrs. Cole’s house in Osterville and she showed me your work on her new system. I love to see when someone shows pride in their work and you guys sure do. I was in the commercial HVAC for years and now back with repairing appliances. I did get your card from Mrs. Cole. I have a lot of customers that I would give your name to. It’s hard to find that kind of good worksmanship these days. I take pride in my work and it’s nice to see someone else does too.

10/24/2013: One of our customers (oil-to-gas conversion) took the time to do come calculating and came up with this info:
“For the 24-month period beginning 10/19/2011 and ending 10/18/2013, the 24 gas bills from National Grid for my house have added up to $1,512.48.
By way of comparison, for the previous 24-month period beginning 10/19/2009 and ending 10/18/2011, the fuel oil bills from the oil company added up to $4,204.43.
The price of fuel oil in the 2011-2013 timeframe was approximately 15% higher than it was in the 2009-2011 timeframe. So I estimate that had I continued with fuel oil in the 10/19/2011 – 10/18/2013 timeframe, by fuel oil bills would have been $4,835.00.
I therefore calculate that over the past 24 months I have paid for gas 31% of what I would have had to pay for oil.
In all instances thermostats were kept at 52 degrees during the winter. Usage of the house was almost identical for the two timeframes cited.”
